Years ago when we went into the limiting strap business, we discovered that limiting strap failure was caused by 2 different elements. The first element was abrasion caused by dirt, mud, oil or rubbing against other surfaces during the suspension cycle. The second element of failure was alignment. In most cases the strap was bolted tight at the top and bottom so it would not follow the suspension travel. By using this clevis you have the ability to adjust your limit strap to the desired length and allow the strap to articulate and pull straight. Stainless steel bushings bring it all together. Applications for 1, 2 or 3 limiting straps per clevis.
